To conserve our nature and environment, it is important to take care of our resources. Plastic materials constitute an ever-growing portion of our daily consumption. Our modern technology enables us to recycle and reuse these resources. For every kilogram of granulate (film) that is recycled, we save 2 kilograms of crude oil from the North Sea.

Norfolier GreenTec is the leading recycler of plastic film waste in the Nordic region. We work closely with authorities, Grønt Punkt Norge AS, and our customers to implement environmentally friendly material recycling of our products.

Commercial film and agricultural film

We accept film from businesses and industries compressed into bales of at least 250 kg. The film should be clean and free from contaminants such as incorrect plastic types, mud, stones, metal, cardboard, ropes, or netting. The film should be pre-sorted according to the regulations of Grønt Punkt Norge (GPN).

(Commercial)

• Identification code 04 LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
• Transparent, clear film with minimal printing. Some labels are accepted.
• Includes bags, shrink wrap, construction film, stretch film, or similar materials.

(Commercial and household)

• Identification code 04 LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
• Colored film with printing, some labels.
• Includes shrink wrap, construction film, stretch film, carrier bags, sacks, and similar items.

• Identification code 04 LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
• White and clear agricultural film; e.g. white silage wrap, clear shrink wrap.
• Colored (green and black) agricultural film should be baled separately from white film unless otherwise agreed upon.

Quality control

Incorrect plastic types contaminate our process and therefore degrade our finished product. It's difficult to separate during regular washing processes. It's therefore crucial that the delivered film does not contain the following items.

• Oxo-degradable plastic.
• Degraded/brittle film (old film).
• Woven PP outer bag.
• Plastic containers.
• Plastic ropes, baling twine/netting.
• PP bags from industry, agriculture, and aquaculture.

In collaboration with Grønt Punkt, we channel the support to collectors and handle the reporting to Grønt Punkt.

We accept industrial film and agricultural film from all over Norway.

We are interested in all types of LDPE film, both colored and clear. If you're uncertain about what you have, samples of the film can be sent to us by mail, and you will receive feedback as soon as it's analyzed.
